“This is a stylish and sophisticated home, in a terrific neighbourhood. Well conceived inside and out, it's perfect for urban dwellers seeking something with character and distinctive design.”—Paul
Distinctive detached home in the Junction. A truly unique collaboration of award winning designers have customized this home to create a stylish and creative space.
Attention to detail and high end finishes throughout. Hardwood floors, custom kitchen and inspiring washrooms. South exposure allows for tons of natural light all day long. Plenty of outdoor space including two private terraces and a side yard for larger gatherings. Parking for two cars.
Unmatched location just steps to restaurant and shops of the Junction on Dundas Street West. A short stroll to High Park, Schools, Grocery Stores… the list goes on.
The interior design and all of the tile work was done by award-winning designer Sean O’Neal from Mettro Source (http://www.mettro.ca). The tile throughout the home was imported from Italy and Spain, and the kitchen backsplash “Sunset Boulevard” is assembled by hand in Italy.
All of the wallpaper was imported form England, and was applied by local legend Roderick Dunn.
The bookshelves in the office area are made from old Junction church pews and fabricated by Forever Interiors (http://www.foreverinteriors.com).
The exterior space has been customized and extremely well thought-out. The gardens are designed by award-winning Earth Inc (http://www.earthinc.com). There is an irrigation system throughout the garden and planters, which has been professionally installed and maintained by Burto.
The yard is equipped with a series of LED lights which provide ample lighting at night. They also have the capability to change colours and set any mood. The lighting system was professionally installed and maintained by Moonstruck Lighting (http://www.moonstrucklandscapelighting.com).
The graffiti screen you will find on the side yard is a custom piece done by a local graffiti artist and is a contemporary nod to the railway heritage of the Junction.
Finally, a trio of apple trees were planted which will start producing fruit this spring!
